Jacobs ladder top is finished.

It was finished last sunday, but I have been too busy to make a post about it.

So here are the top. It is 72" x 90". I am planing to handquilt it.

Now I need to get  backing fabric and batting.


Have also been working on another top.
I bought this book earlier this summer, love everything about it. Just had to start on one of the projects in it.

One of my favorite blocks is log cabin. And this was so fun to make. I used Marti Michell ruler for log cabin. It made the block easy to make.

This one is nearly done, I have about five rows left to put together.

So back to the sewing machine for me.

Progress

I am slowly getting these blocks sorted out. It has been a longer road than attended, because I have been making all sort of mistakes.

I have been cutting wrong, putting the pieces together wrong. Ended up laying this project to the side a couple of months.

Now they are all layed out on the floor, ready to be sewn together to a top.
Better get to it!

I was lucky and won...

A new quilt on the way

A couple of weeks ago I started on a new project.

I am a member of a fabric club at Lappemakeriet. The box was now getting full.
So it was time to use some of them in a quilt.

Got started on cutting and sewing strips together.

Now blocks are starting to form.

A small pile is ready.

Will post more about it soon. This week is good for sewing, weather report says rain all week.

Can`t have enough of these...

My bags, large and small.

This is the one`s I could find at the moment. There are a few more around the house somewhere.

Have also made a lot more bags and purses. They are good for gifts. So family and friends has lots too.
