Not much

sewing the last weeks.

I have been painting walls and roofs in the kitchen and livingroom.

Yesterday I visited a quilt show just down the road from where I live. It is Vikhammer Quilt Guild celebrating their 15 years together.

Lots of great quilts to see. And fun to meet friends.

This was just a small celection of what they were showing.

Pimp my ride....

.... nope!

 I have been pimping a appron. DD has cookingclass at school this year, and was told she need a appron. We planed to make one from scratch, but then I found this old one hidden in a bag.

It had seen better days. Pocket where almost torn off.
We decided we could work something out of it.
I found some fabric and ribbons in my stash, and started cutting and sewing.
Here it is all pimped and looking much better.

And I have a very happy girl looking forward to school tomorrow.

Log Cabin top

just finished today.

It is 90" square. Used strips that are cut 1 1/4" wide.
Colours used are black, grey, brown, tan, white and green.
It will go in my ready to be quilted basket for now.
I am planing to handquilt it.
