Handmade presents

I made a quilt each for my kids, did`nt have enough time to finish the binding, so that is being done now.

This one was for my daughter. I used the Le Moyne Star in lots of differnt pinks, greens, blues and purples.

This one my son got. I used lots of blues, browns, greys, blacks and some tans. The same star is used here. This was a BOM from lappemakeriet.no.

Both are made with english paperpiecing tecnique by hand. Stars, sashing, cornerstones and border are put together by maschine.

I had both profesionally longarm quilted in a pattern called Bishop`s fan.

Will show some more photos later. Time to get the bus to go to work now.

Fantastisk flotte tepper. Jøje meg, så mye arbeid det må ha vært. Selv har jeg sydd to stjerner med seks biter i hver, og da var jeg meget fornøyd med meg selv. Ha en fin onsdagskveld. Klem ToneB

Lovely pattern. This is a gift made with love for children.I also wish i'm going to do something like that but maybe just now a tablerunner or a cushion would be something to start with
